Meet Hannah
My name is Hannah Snider (she/her/hers) and I am a rising junior pursuing chemical engineering and chemistry here at Rose-Hulman. Some clubs/activities I am involved with are the Noblitt Scholars Program, Alpha Chi Sigma (a chemistry fraternity), the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and InterVarsity Christian Fellows. My hobbies outside of school include sleeping, reading, water skiing, running, and cycling. A part of Rose Prime that I am looking forward to is discussing how Calculus concepts can be applied to real world problems (and maybe showing how to take fun notes)!
Meet Salik
My name is Salik Ahmad (he/him), and I am a rising sophomore pursuing a computer engineering bachelor's degree and an engineering management master's degree. Some of the extracurricular activities I am involved in are the Men's Soccer Team, Triangle Fraternity, and South Asian Student Alliance. In my free time at Rose, I love to play intramural sports, work out at the SRC, play video games, and just chill out with friends. I can't wait to meet the Rose Prime students and help them learn how to be successful at Rose while still finding time to enjoy life!
Meet Ashka
Hi, I’m Ashka (any pronouns). I am a rising junior majoring in Mathematics with minors in Spanish and Music. On campus I am the secretary of the Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM), a second violin in the Symphony Orchestra, and a member of the South Asian Students Alliance (SASA). Outside of that I love to crochet, play Dungeons and Dragons, and hang out with friends. I LOVE math (which I will make abundantly clear) and Rose. I hope I can help you love math and Rose as much as I do. I can’t wait to become friends this summer!
Meet William
My name is William Foss (he/him/his) and I am a rising sophomore. I am currently working toward a degree in Computer Science (and thinking about Engineering Management). Outside of academics, I am involved in Student Government Association, Kappa Theta Pi (a technology fraternity), and Rose Drama Club. I also work on-campus at Hatfield Hall and AskRose. I enjoy reading fantasy and sci-fi books, and I also like video and board games. I love tutoring and I’m very excited for Rose Prime. I can’t wait to meet everybody and help incoming freshmen develop strategies for success at Rose!
Meet Matt
My name is Matt Gerona (he/him/his) and I am a rising sophomore majoring in Chemical Engineering. I am a Student Activities Board executive board member, secretary for the Assembly of Rose-Hulman Catholic Disciples, Steering Committee member of the Noblitt Scholars Program, and part of Orientation Crew this year. I am an avid runner and biker, and I enjoy playing tennis and working out. I enjoy playing Minecraft in my free time. I am excited to meet you all and make your experiences at Rose as great as mine were freshman year (as well as teach you math!).
Meet Katie
Hi, I'm Katie Palmer (she/her/hers) and I'm a junior chemical engineering major. Here at Rose-Hulman, I'm involved with Engineers for a Sustainable World, the Floor Hockey club, and Varsity Softball as well as working as a Learning Center Tutor. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities like camping and hiking, reading, and playing games with my friends. I'm excited to help Rose Prime students get a jump start on math here at Rose-Hulman.
