A chemistry and chemical engineering major from Virginia who plays the cello.
What do you most expect to gain from being part of our scholars program?
I'm looking forward to connecting with like-minded students and developing my engineering knowledge.
How do you spend your free time?
I like to spend my time learning new things, playing the cello, and cultivating my houseplants.
What is the nerdiest thing you do?
I collect houseplants from the same genus (pilea) to look for similarities/ identifying features
How do you hope to change the world with the knowledge you’ll gain at Rose-Hulman?
I have a lot of interest in the way materials are created/used/disposed of, largely since mass-manufactured products are extremely common in our daily lives. Changing the world could look like improving methods of recycling or developing more effective materials.
