What do you like most about your job?

I really enjoy working with everyone but especially helping our students and parents with their questions. Freshmen Orientation weekend has always been a favorite time of the year, seeing the students so excited to start their journey. Parents are also excited but nervous and anxious about leaving their children. It’s always nice to hear from the parents later, that Rose has been a great choice for their student.

What is your favorite Rose memory so far?

Back when I started at Rose, they were just beginning the transition from the Legacy Poise system to Banner. I was able to assist with the implementation and help establish procedures in the Accounts Receivable module.

What are you most proud of from your time at Rose so far?

I just celebrated my 21st anniversary on March 8, 2021. I guess I don’t look at accomplishments as my own. I have always considered myself as part of a team and really enjoy being able to share my past experience and knowledge with others to help them grow and develop their own expertise.

How do you spend your free time?

Spending time with my family, golfing, knitting and camping.

SWE Video Series

The pandemic hasn’t kept Rose-Hulman’s Society of Women Engineers student chapter members from reaching out through other creative ways to introduce girls to STEM fields, especially those with academic programs on campus. The students’ YouTube video series have been a big hit, maybe even Oscar worthy!
