Rose-Hulman is pleased to announce its Discovery Music Series, a season of musical excellence.
The next performance will be Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the White Chapel, with pianist Clare Longendyke performing a free recital at 5 p.m. Tickets are not required. Seating is first come, first served. Longendyke's performance connects with Rose-Hulman’s “Baroque, Classical, and Romantic Music” course being offered to students this fall.
Past Discovery Music Series performances include:
Remembrance of the Past: The Blessing of Music - March 10, 2024 (5 p.m.) in the White Chapel. This special evening of music and conversation will celebrate the life of the late Holocaust survivors and longtime Terre Haute residents Eva and Mickey Kor, and their shared love of life and music. It will feature Artist-In-Residence Clare Longendyke and the Kors' son, Alex.
Recital Celebrating the Evolution of Video Game Music - April 17, 2024 (7:30 p.m.) in the White Chapel.
Longendyke will join the Rose-Hulman student orchestra in a May 12, 2024 performance of Florence Price’s Piano Concerto in One Movement. The season concludes in May with a concert showcasing world premieres by Rose-Hulman’s student composers. Both events will be in Hatfield Hall.
All Discovery Music Series performances are free and open to the public.
