Certificate of Eligibility
After you apply for use of your benefits you will receive a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), award letter, in the mail if your application is approved. You must submit a copy of this document to the Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. This document is required prior to requesting use of your benefits and provides confirmation of your eligibility. You may submit the COE in person or send as an attachment via e-mail to finaid@rose-hulman.edu.
For future/prospective students, you may send a copy of your certificate of eligibility to the Financial Aid Office as soon as you have made your decision to enroll.
Timeline
To avoid a delay in acquiring your benefits, the process should begin 12 weeks before classes begin.
Enrollment Certification
To receive veterans’ educational benefits, students must complete the Rose-Hulman Veterans Certification form to confirm use of your benefits, prior to each term.
- Certify with Rose-Hulman, Office of Financial Aid (each term) by completing the Rose-Hulman Veterans Certification form available here: Financial Aid Forms and submitting to the Office of Financial Aid.
Report Course Changes and Change in Major/Program
Students must report any changes in enrollment, major or program to the School Certifying Official as soon as possible. Failure to report changes may result in a delay of the payment of educational benefits.
