The Woodshop Safety class is a 2 hour session on general safety issues, potential hazards, and standard operating procedures for the large woodworking power tools found in K173. Wear shop appropriate clothes (safety glasses, pants, closed shoes and hair tied back) and bring paper/pen to take notes. Class will be held begin in the KIC Conference Room and move into the KIC woodshop if time allows. Completing this class is one of the requirements necessary to gain access to the wood shop. This class may run over time. It would be best not to schedule anything directly after. There is no prerequisite for this class.
