Rose-Hulman Triangle Chapter Honored with National Awards

Rose-Hulman's chapter of Triangle fraternity earned several awards from the national Triangle organization, including awards for three individual members.
Rose-Hulman's chapter of Triangle fraternity earned several honors from the national Triangle organization this summer honoring their commitments to campus, community, chapter, and classroom.
The chapter earned first place in Outstanding Chapter Operations, an award that included a $5,000 education scholarship. The award, according to the national Triangle website, "recognizes the chapter that has the structure in place to offer an organized and holistic fraternal experience for its members."
Rose-Hulman Triangle also received recognition in several other key areas, including second place in Top Chapter, and Honorable Mention in both Outstanding Philanthropy and Service and Outstanding Campus Involvement.
This is the first time since 2020 that the Rose-Hulman chapter has earned national awards.
Several individual chapter members also received national honors:
- Jansen Biddle was named Senior of the Year. Biddle, a Maysville, Kentucky, native, graduated in 2025 with a degree in civil engineering. He is currently pursuing a master's in structural engineering at Rose-Hulman. The award is presented to a Triangle member who has remained actively engaged in their chapter and has served as a mentor or role model to younger members.
- William Wittich, a senior from Solon, Iowa, studying mechanical engineering with minors in entrepreneurial studies and manufacturing engineering, was named Executive Board Member of the Year. Wittich was recognized for a lasting impact that contributed to the success of the chapter and currently serves as its treasurer.
- Andrew Cameron, the current president of Rose-Hulman's Triangle chapter, was awarded the Compass of Character. According to Triangle's national website, the award "is given by Triangle headquarters staff to honor the oft-unsung heroes that help illuminate the way to being better brothers, fraternity men, and citizens." Cameron is a senior from Beaumont, Texas, studying chemical engineering.
Triangle is the nation's only men's STEM fraternity, and the Rose-Hulman chapter is one of 11 Greek life organizations on campus. More than one-third of Rose-Hulman students are affiliated with a Greek chapter, with fraternity rush occurring annually during fall quarter.
