About Handshake

Handshake is a national recruiting platform Rose-Hulman has chosen to partner with that gives students and alumni real-time access to over 250,000 employers across the country and world.

Students and alumni can use Handshake to connect to employers, search and apply for jobs, apply for internships and co-ops, search for events, schedule interviews and connect with Rose-Hulman Career Services & Employer Relations team members.

Employers can use Handshake as a tool to connect directly with students and alumni, identifying qualified individuals and giving them a method to make immediate contact. Employers can also post jobs, communicate with Career Services, and search and register for university events.

Alumni enjoy all of the same benefits as current students, in addition to being able to search mid and senior-level positions specifically.

How do I register for Handshake?

Recruiters & Employers: Use the employer login link to register. 

Alumni: Use the login link and follow the instructions to set up a new account.

Students: As a current student, you already have an account associated with your rose-hulman.edu email address. Use the login link and follow the instructions. More information for current students can be found on the Career Services pages on MyRose-Hulman.

How long does it take to get approved?

Most requests are confirmed within 2 business days.

What if I need help?

Recruiters & Employers: The Handshake employer page can help with most questions.

Alumni: You can go to Handshake’s Help Center if you have Handshake-specific questions.

Current Students: More information for current students can be found on the Career Services pages on MyRose-Hulman.
