Dr. Wei Wu earned her doctorate in electrical engineering from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Her area of specialization is power electronics and energy harvesting. Her dissertation was titled Micro-circuit Diode for Low-power Energy Harvesting. She joined Rose-Hulman's faculty in 2017. She has authored many publications and received many academic awards. She interned as a hardware engineer for Titan Aerospace, which was acquired by Google in 2014. In addition to her many interests, she is an experienced karate instructor.
