Driven by a passionate desire to teach new generations, Dr. Monay Shoushan transitioned from industry to academia. Her expertise spans signal processing and biomedical image processing applications, applying smart sensors and IoT solutions for healthcare, and developing smartphone-based models for monitoring health conditions and vital signs. She enjoys mentoring student researchers, guiding them to explore the integration of ML-enabled image processing for both medical disease detection and industrial robotics. Her goal is to translate classroom concepts into real-world expertise, broadening her students' practical skills.
