Dr. David Fisher specializes in robotics, smartphone, and web application development, mobile computing, and software engineering. He has brought back experiences from sabbaticals at Google and Apple to give students the skills to succeed in today’s high-tech world. Dr. Fisher, a Rose-Hulman alumnus, was a finalist for the Indiana tech community’s Tech Educator of the Year Award in 2016 and a Fulbright Scholar in 2018-19. Besides his innovative teachings, he also co-directs the institute’s robotics minor program and is working to make programming course materials available online through the Rosebotics.org project.
