SESSION ONE
Hardware Art
(ages 7 and up)
10—11:30 a.m.
In this session, participants will learn how to use a drill in order to create art with hardware screws. This is a simple project that encourages kids (and adults) to use a drill for the first time.
SESSION TWO
What Do You Want to Make?
(ages 10 and up)
1–3 p.m.
Participants will get all the materials and tools to make a bird house, mini-bookshelf, rocket, or abstract art! This project challenges kids who have developed dexterity to use a drill and other tools to build something that requires thought. This will challenge their ability to design, build and use what’s available to them.
#girlswithdrills t-shirt available for $10!
Please bring cash or check to purchase a t-shirt at the event.
