How to Install Robotics Software

Overview
Follow these directions to download various software packages for the Create
robot and configure it on Windows.
Any students enrolled in CSSE120R (Robotics section only) will be using the
PyCreate
library, Bluetooth to transmit commands to the robots, and the Create
simulator.
Prerequisites
You must have Python installed on your laptop.
Eclipse is also nice for the Roomba Create simulator.
Installing PyCreate and the Bluetooth Transmitter
Follow these directions to install PyCreate
and these directions to install the Bluetooth Transmitter.
Note: 2011-2012 laptops come with the Bluetooth already enabled, and PyCreate
already installed.
