
A Rose-Hulman and Harvard Law graduate, Judge Wilkins was appointed to the U.S. District Court in 2014. He was a key player in the establishment of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, and is the author of The Long Road to Hard Truth, chronicling the journey that led to the museum’s completion.

Rose-Hulman’s Center for Diversity, Diversity Council and the National Society of Black Engineers will host Alumnus Judge Robert Wilkins for a book signing at 6 pm and a lecture at 7 pm, on The National Museum of African American History and Culture on March 28, 2018 in the Hulman Memorial Union Lake Room.
