Parents and Families

We are excited to meet you and your student this weekend!

Students have received an email with final instructions for what to expect when they arrive on campus to move into their assigned residence hall. Please encourage them to share this information with you because it walks you through the step-by-step process for check-in and move-in. The email also explains campus face mask requirements and provides the link to the online Travel and Symptoms Form that all guests must compete 24 hours prior to arrival. As well, it includes information about campus tours, the Bookstore hours, and how to enjoy goodies from the Bon Appetit Food Truck. This information, along with the New Student Orientation schedule, has been posted on the Class of 2024 Moodle site.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact us with questions.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

For International Students Arriving from Abroad

New students traveling to Rose-Hulman from outside of the United States will need to isolate and quarantine within the U.S. for 14 days.

  • Students wishing to quarantine on-campus should be at Rose-Hulman by August 12.
  • Students quarantining off-campus will follow the move-in and testing procedures outlined for the rest of the incoming class.

All international students must complete the arrival survey in the Class of 2024 Moodle course before August 7. After completing the survey Kristen Merchant, Associate Director of the Union and Student Activities Office, will be in contact to coordinate arrival information.
