Welcome, Class of 2025 and Transfers!

New Student Orientation is designed to welcome all of our incoming first-year, transfer, and international students to the Rose‑Hulman community.

Your Rose-Hulman experience starts here!

New Student Orientation is a large and exciting program to welcome all of our incoming first-year and transfer students to the Rose-Hulman community.  You will arrive on campus ahead of returning students, so you have time to get to know us and learn about all the campus resources that are available to you… you will also meet new friends and have A LOT of fun!

New Student Orientation is scheduled to take place Friday, August 27 – Wednesday, September 1.

We plan to offer a full, in-person orientation experience to all our new students!  However, we remain committed to the safety of our students and families and will make necessary adjustments (i.e., emphasizing social distancing, hosting virtual gatherings, adhering to masking mandates) in response to ongoing health concerns to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.

More information will be provided as soon as it becomes available so check back often for the latest updates.

For International Students Travelling from Abroad

Free shuttles from the Indianapolis International Airport will be provided to all our students living internationally on Wednesday, August 25.  Arriving before orientation begins will give you time to adjust to a new time zone so that you are ready to fully participate in all the orientation events that begin on Friday, August 27.

Registration is required to secure your seat on a shuttle.  The registration link will be available in mid-May and will be on this webpage.  If you do not register for a shuttle, we will assume you will arrive on Friday, August 27 and you will provide your own transportation.

For Parents and Families

Because parents and families need orienting too!

Parent and Family Orientation is scheduled to take place Friday, August 27 – Saturday, August 28.  You will enjoy two days on campus getting to know faulty and staff, meeting other parents, and spending some time with your student before they begin their Rose-Hulman career!

More information will be provided as soon as it is available so check back often for the latest updates.

We look forward to meeting you in August!
