FIRST JOB AFTER ROSE-HULMAN?

Research assistant fellow for biomedical engineering professor Benjamin Cosgrove at Cornell University.

MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU LEARNED ON THAT JOB?

The ability to conceptualize a series of working models to study scientific problems within fixed deadlines.

MOST MEMORABLE ROSE-HULMAN PROFESSOR?

Professor William Weiner was and still is a most important mentor in my academic development. Shout out to professors Kay C Dee and Renee Rogge.

IDEAL WEEKEND?

Exploring New York's Hudson Valley in the fall, Lake Michigan in the spring, or Rhode Island's Narragansett Bay in the summer.

STAR TREK OR STAR WARS?

It still surprises people when I say I have not seen any Star Wars films.

WHAT IS THE NERDIEST THING YOU DO?

I dressed for Halloween as a historical figure once. Most people mistook me for a cast member of the musical Hamilton.

ADVICE TO INCOMING ROSE-HULMAN STUDENTS?

Take advantage of the (mostly free) resources at Rose-Hulman. From the gym to professors from other departments. Dare to be excessive in wanting it all.
