COVID-19 Dashboard

This dashboard shares data from the screening put in place as part of Rose-Hulman’s Rose Ready health and safety protocols. This data is relative to only those individuals authorized to be on campus.

Individuals authorized to be on campus are tested once a week (starting August 31). Data is not combined with other testing sources or providers.

Case numbers will be updated Tuesday-Friday by 5 p.m., or as soon as that information is available.

Quarantine and Isolation:

Rose-Hulman has secured locations both on and off campus to house students who need to isolate (those who have symptoms or have tested positive) or quarantine (those who have been exposed to positive individuals and have not tested positive).

Since September 25, 2020, we are testing individuals who are in quarantine on the 3rd and 8th day of their 14-day quarantine.

A few things to note about the figures above:

By definition, a case is someone who has COVID-19, as defined by a positive test.
Data includes students, staff and faculty who have physically returned to campus.
Above figures include cases on Rose-Hulman’s main campus as well as at Rose-Hulman Ventures.
Students who test positive are moved into off-campus housing to isolate for 10 days. Students identified as being in close contact with positive cases are quarantined for 14 days in designated housing, located off campus.
Faculty and staff identified as positive case will be directed to isolate at home for 10 days. Faculty or staff determined to be a close contact to a positive case will be directed to quarantine at home for 14 days per public health guidelines.
