March 5, 2020:

Rose-Hulman strives to keep its campus and community safe while delivering on its educational mission. We are closely monitoring the evolving information about Coronavirus (COVID-19), and are partnering with local and state health and emergency response officials to gather and disseminate accurate and timely information.

Based on information from the CDC, the Indiana State Department of Health and the Vigo County Health Department, Rose-Hulman operations will largely continue as normal, although we are suspending all institute-related travel to identified Level 2 and Level 3 locations related to COVID-19.

Additionally, we are asking the campus community and visitors to campus to self-report any non-routine, out-of-state travel and/or any COVID-19 symptoms over the past 14 days by completing the survey below. We will monitor anyone reporting travel to Level 2 locations and are instructing those who have visited Level 3 areas to self-quarantine away from campus.

We will continue to assess the issue and are prepared to respond should the situation change. In the meantime we will take prudent precautions, such as sharing best practices within the campus community for preventing the spread of viruses.

Visit the CDC website at for the latest information about the virus.

We will continue to provide any updates here as new information becomes available.
