Matthew D. Lovell

Associate Professor of Civil Engineering

Dr. Matthew Lovell is a Rose-Hulman alumnus and registered professional engineer who specializes in the design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, and bridges. Before joining the Rose-Hulman faculty, he worked as a bridge engineer in a structural engineering consulting firm and served as a site operations engineer for an earthquake engineering research group. Dr. Lovell also is the advisor for the Steel Bridge Club and Interim Senior Director of Institutional, Research, Planning, and Assessment.
