Finding us is easy. We’re close to lots of interesting places and things, but we’re also off the beaten path, making Rose‑Hulman the perfect place for tomorrow’s engineers and scientists.

A Great Location!

Our nearness to Indianapolis International Airport and Interstate 70 make us easy to find. You can drive from our front entrance to Indianapolis in about an hour. Chicago, St. Louis, and Cincinnati are also a short trip away.

Driving Directions:

From the north:
US 41 becomes Third Street when you enter Terre Haute. Follow it to Ohio Street (identified as US 40 East). Turn left (east) and continue for about 5 miles through town. Signs will divert you to Wabash Avenue when it's time. Rose-Hulman is on the north side of Wabash Avenue (US 40) just outside of town.

From the east:
You’ll approach Terre Haute on either US 40 or Interstate 70. Rose-Hulman is on US 40 just east of Terre Haute. From I-70, take the US 40/Indiana 46 Exit (Exit 11). Turn right and drive north about four miles to US 40 (Wabash Avenue). Turn right on US 40 (Wabash Avenue) and Rose-Hulman will be on the left in just ½ mile.

From the south (Bloomington) via Indiana 46:
Drive north on Highway 46 to its end at US 40 (Wabash Avenue). Turn right. Rose-Hulman is on the left in just ½ mile.

From the west:
Take Exit 11 off I-70 and go north on US 40/Indiana 46 about four miles to Wabash Avenue. Turn right. Rose-Hulman will be on your left in about ½ mile.

From anywhere:
