Can you dig it? Today was the totally groovy 70's day, complete with leopard print (but no bell bottoms... even at Goodwill :( ). Today was a break from some of the normal project time during the day for presentations on college admissions as well as faculty lectures in the afternoon. After dinner, we braved the Valley heat to play some kickball down on the baseball fields in the southwest corner of campus. Despite that heat, everyone seemed to have a great time.
We also had our first plant trip of the session, with 5 vans heading down to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indiana (TMMI) down near Evansville in the southwest corner of the state. It was a pretty awesome tour; guides at the facility drove all the students who went through the plant, showing them the construction of the Toyota Sienna from raw metal to final quality inspection.
It was also Tasty Treat Tuesday, so a caravan went to Tropical Sno (Tro-Sno) for some sno-cones and other sugary deserts.
