Back on campus, people enjoyed a variety of movies and card games (Euchre was ever popular, and Taken, Bourne Ultimatum, and Sex Drive were some of the more popular movies).
The academic part of the day was relatively normal, with the exception of the Effective Technical Communication seminars in the morning. Since Catapult's all about seeing the full spread of Rose-Hulman's courses and activities, we like to show the monkeys what our humanities are like, as well as all the engineering classes. The Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) Department is actually the largest department at Rose because of our philosophy that best-trained engineer still isn't worth much if he can't communicate his ideas effectively.
The projects are coming along very well; everyone I've talked to seems to be having a lot of fun!
