CS-100: Introduction to Programming and Problem Solving

Welcome to the homepage for my section of CS-100. This homepage is
designed to assist in running this course. As the semester progresses,
I will post supporting materials, review material for the exams,
curves and statistics about the exams, and other announcements. You
should read this page periodically (once a week).

Grading
The grading scheme is as follows:
| Exam 1 | 15%
|
| Exam 2 | 15%
|
| Final exam | 30%
|
| In-Lab exercises | 20%
|
| Post-Lab exercises | 20%
|
You must have a passing grade in the exams to pass the course.
Curving
Exams and homeworks may be curved, depending on the overall
performance of the class.
Attendance Policy
Attendance is not mandatory, but strongly encouraged.
You are responsible for all materials covered in class as well as
all announcements.
Academic Integrity
See the departmental
statement on academic honesty. Dishonesty on homeworks or exams may
receive a lowered course grade or a grade of an F in the course.
