Exam 3 is Tuesday evening, February 4, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

• So NOT during regular class. This is an EVENING exam.
• The exam is NOT in our usual classroom. Instead, rooms for the exam are as follows.
  • Section 1 (class meets from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., Fisher): Your room is Olin 157.
  • Section 2 (class meets from 10 a.m. to noon, Mutchler): Your room is Olin 159.
  • Section 3 (class meets from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Fisher): Your room is Olin 167.
  • Section 4 (class meets from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., Alangar): Your room is Olin 169.

If you have any questions about the following documents/instructions, ask your instructor about them BEFORE you begin Exam 3.

1. Format of Exam 3
   • Read this explanation of the Format of Exam 3. It is the same as for Exam 2. Hence, your "hint sheet" may be either on 8.5 x 11 sheet using BOTH sides or two such sheets using ONE side on each.
   • If you wish (OPTIONAL), look at this sample of the paper-and-pencil portion of Exam 3 along with this SOLUTION to that exam.
2. Expectations regarding Academic Integrity
   • Read our Expectations for Academic Integrity on this exam. You will complete and turn this in at the end of the exam.
3. Prepare your “hint sheet” (one page, double-sided, or two pages, single-sided), as described in the Format of Exam 3 .
4. Complete your (informally) required preparation for Exam 3, as described to the right.
