Software Installation

Installing Python -- Programming language used in first seven weeks of the course.
Class of 2011 and later should already have this installed.

Installing Zelle Graphics Library -- A library used for programming Graphics applications.

Installing Eclipse -- An IDE used to facilitate software development.
Class of 2011 and later should already have this installed.

Configuring Eclipse for Python -- Necessary for using Eclipse for development of Python programs

Installing Subclipse -- A tool used to checkout and commit work to SVN repositories.
Allows you to use Subversion version control from within Eclipse.

Installing the MinGW Tools for C/C++ -- Compilation tools for C/C++ on Windows.
Class of 2011 and later should already have this installed.

Configuring Eclipse for C/C++ -- Necessary for using Eclipse for development of C/C++ programs on Windows.
