Introduction to Logic Design

Credits/When Offered: 3R-3L-4C / W-S

Combinational logic design, Boolean algebra, logic minimization, Karnaugh maps, static and dynamic hazards, multiplexers and memories in combinational design, flip-flops, registers and counters, counter design, finite state machine design, state tables and diagrams, state assignment.  Includes use of a logic simulator for several design problems.
