The Champions - Terre Haute South
Overall Team Champions: For the sixth straight year, Terre Haute South took home top team honors in the Rose-Hulman High School Mathematics Contest. The proud team and advisers pose for a team picture with Rose-Hulman Mathematics Department faculty following the contest. More than 400 students from more than 20 high schools in Indiana and Illinois participated in the contest.


Shonk Award winners
Top Freshman: E.G. Wright of Terre haute South and Kristina Thorne of Honey Creek Midle School earned honors as the top-scoring male and female freshmen. Each recieved two mathematics textbooks, from a fund established in memory of former Vigo County teacher Sally Shonk.
