The EIC’s Probing Question of the Week
Hello adoring readers! Who of you don’t like contests? And since you’re looking at this page, I assume you are at least partial to laughing. In a miraculous and, I must say, brilliant epiphany the other day, I have concocted an incredible way to marry these two seemingly dissimilar concepts into one grand hilarious contest!
Each week, I will ask you, the reader, an incredibly personal and probing question that not only delves into the deepest reaches of your soul, but also tests your knowledge of popular culture. Then, after much introspection, you will send me the most knee-slapping yet appropriate response you can think of by e-mailing to flipside@rose-hulman.edu.
The following week, I will highlight the best and funniest responses worthy of honorable mentions, then crown that week’s EIC’s Probe Winner, who will be the recipient of a fabulous prize!
I can tell you’re all excited. And although I am a big fan of delayed gratification, I won’t hold you in suspense any longer. Here’s the contest’s inaugural question:
How would you describe your
love life using only a movie
quote?
When responding, remember to include your name, the quote, the character who delivered the line, and the name of the movie. Remember, all responses go to that magical electronic hole-in-the-wall, flipside@rose-hulman.edu.
