Welcome to spring quarter everyone. As you might have noticed, we have been getting some great weather, which means, of course, being completely distracted in class as we admire the beautiful outdoors. Who can resist the arrival of spring? So if you haven’t noticed yet, we recently had a shuffling of positions. I have become your beloved Opinions Editor-turned-Co-Editor-in-Chief from my humble beginnings as your puzzle maker. Yet, worry not! I shall not abandon all you puzzlers; check out the new puzzle type, CodeWord.
Although with the coming of spring, is the dawning of the end of the year. And I hope that this quarter brings some heated discussions about anything and everything that happens on and off campus. And, as Smoky informed me every morning during my Saturday morning cartoons, only you can help start the fire. So don’t be afraid to send your opinions to the e-mail below.
Care to rant about the guy telling you to cheer less for our teams, or maybe how much you hated my article last week about Apple’s new revolution? Well then, too bad! You’ll just have to live with it forever and ever; or just send me a e-mail.
Get your laptops out and get typing. What are your thoughts on the geese that will be returning to campus in a few weeks (love them or hate them)? I’m polling and I want a response (I’ll even post letters that you send me; it’s ingenious, I know!).
Jump on it, Rose-Hulman! And while I’m at it, turn off your lights when you aren’t using them (that means when you leave the room and go to sleep); it ticks me off. We were on track for the Sustainability Club’s MP3 challenge and now we are behind, c’mon! It’s not that hard.
You know what really gets my ire, people throwing rocks onto the lake when it is starting to freeze over. No wait, that’s my friend who gets angry about that…
