Alanis Morissette “My Humps” video parody

What it is: Chances are you may’ve seen this already, but it never hurts to remind people that it is out there. Alanis does her own version of the Black Eyed Peas’ “My Humps” with a slower piano-only beat and really brings to light the fascinating lyrics of Fergie & Co. Music professionals have hailed this video as “a brilliant commentary of modern pop music.”

MADtv - iRack

(including blooper)

What it is: Steve Jobs, played by Micheal McDonald of Stewart fame, takes the iProduct to the next level when he introduces the iRack, which is both a commentary on the Bush administration and the silly nature of Apple’s new product presentations.

The ‘smiley’ intervention

What it is: A comedian makes the brilliant connection between using the smiley in an e-mail and becoming a cat person. The math doesn’t necessarily make sense (it should be something like (!*lol)^J) but the idea is there. Maybe we should have him come up with a formula about sending annoying all campus e-mails and lonliness…

Charles Has A Licking Problem

What it is: Our protagonist Charles can’t seem to not lick. One might say he has a licking problem. Don’t worry PETA Pals, he is a happy little guy and he hasn’t been harmed. The video has a catchy tune to accompany it, so careful to not get ‘Lick Lick’ stuck in your head during class. You may get weird looks.

Top 10 Ways to Die in a Video Game

What it is: It seems to be a top 10 list from the Gamecube/Xbox/PS2 era. While the title is the Top 10 Ways… it is actually ‘Top 10 WORST Ways to Die in a Video Game.’ Other than the slightly misleading title, the narrator brings up some good points about death in video game history. If I die, I’d like to die in a combination of 3 and 6.

Investiture of President Jakubowski

What it is: The investiture of our fearless leader, Dr. Gerald Jakubowski. If you weren’t there, or even if you were, this is a defining moment in Rose’s history. Just check it out.
