XΩ Make-a-Dish for Make-a-Wish

Friday, March 30th, several hundred people from the Terre Haute community gathered at Vigo County North High School to participate in the fourth Chi Omega-sponsored Make-a-Dish. Women from both the Rose-Hulman and Indiana State University chapters ran the event, which was coordinated by Rose sophomore chemical engineer Jennifer McClary.

Tickets could be purchased from Chi Omegas prior to the event or at the front door. One ticket allowed one person to take a trip through the line, putting anything they could fit onto one plate and one bowl. Food included pizzas, subs, spaghetti, and an array of deserts. All food was donated by area companies. Other companies donated items to be auctioned, such as gift cards and movie tickets. Shirts were also sold. All proceeds went to the Make-a-Wish foundation, an organization that seeks to help wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses come true.
