Getting involved in something bigger than yourself
There's no doubt about it, Rose-Hulman students are committed to helping others. In the past year Rose-Hulman students have:
- provided over 10,000 hours of service to the community.
- given over 880 pints of blood to Hoosiers in need.
- collected and donated over $42,000 and countless goods to local individuals and organizations.
Some of the most popular service events for students are the Rose-Hulman Day of Service, the Bikes for Tykes Project, Save the Day for the American Red Cross, and campus-wide blood drives. Why should you make time for community service? You'll make new friends. You'll help others. You'll learn more about yourself. You'll grow as a person each time you do something for the greater good.
| If you want to get involved, we invite you to come to any of our planned events. Or, stop by and we can help you organize your own event! And, don't forget to log your service hours in Banner! For more information contact Kristen Loyd, Assistant Dean of Student Services, 812-877-8484. |
