TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- The Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology men's tennis team improved to 10-7 on the
season with a 6-3 victory over Greenville College on Wednesday.
Junior Scott Grubbs (Wildwood, Mo.)
and junior Michael Schoumacher (Memphis, Tenn.) earned victories at the No. 1
and 2 singles slots, then teamed up for a No. 1 doubles win.
Other singles winners for the Engineers
included sophomore Seth Hendrickson (Crawfordsville) at the No. 4
position; sophomore Dallas Burton (Haughton, La.) at No. 5; and sophomore Brent Frizzell (Avon)
at the No. 6 spot.
Rose-Hulman stands 10-7 on the season and
6-1 in Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference play. The Engineers return
to action with a home match against Greenville on Tuesday.
