WILMINGTON, OHIO -- The
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology men's cross country team
finished ninth of 34 institutions at the Wilmington College Invitational on a
chilly Friday.
Sophomore
Micah Aldrich (Indianapolis/Warren Central) led the Rose-Hulman effort with
a 10th place of 265 runners in a career best time of 26:04. The effort
ranks as the 15th best time in
school history.
Junior David Caldwell (Plymouth) came home
20th overall and second among Engineers with a time of 26:36. Junior
Derek Bischak (Angola) added a 64th place finish in a time of 27:53.
Other Engineers contributing to the team score
included senior Eric Clark (Wooster, Ohio/Triway) with a time of 28:03
and freshman Kevin Dickson (Grayslake, Ill./Grayslake) with an effort of
28:06.
Rose-Hulman returns to action at the Heartland
Collegiate Athletic Conference championships on Oct. 31 hosted by Mount St.
Joseph.
