Rose-Hulman jumped out to a 10-6 lead on a three-pointer by junior Phil Sundling (Huntington/North) and a layup by Yaraschefski.  Defiance rallied to take leads of 11-10 and 19-15, before a 10-3 spurt helped the Yellow Jackets take a 32-23 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Rose-Hulman battled back to within five points at 37-32 and 39-34 on scores from George and Bibb.  Defiance pushed the lead back to 12 points at 46-34 with a three-pointer by Eric Stolly.
