TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Brian Bibb (Hoopeston, Ill.) earned first-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference, while two Engineer men's basketball players captured honorable mention recognition in results released today.

Senior Jason Bednarko (Athens, Ill.) and junior Ron George (Louisville, Ky.) earned the honorable mention all-league accolades.

Bibb led the HCAC in rebounds with 241 for a 9.6 average per game.  He also ranked fourth in the league in blocked shots (22) and eighth in the conference in scoring (13.4 ppg).

On the season, Bibb recorded 20 double-figure scoring games, highlighted by 31 points and 16 rebounds in a win over NCAA qualifier Fontbonne.  He also led the conference with 10 double-doubles on the season.

In his career, Bibb scored 739 points and grabbed 500 rebounds in 101 career games.

George capped the season with six double-figure scoring games in the team's last eight contests.  He averaged 8.1 points per game and shot 48% from the field and 88% on the foul line in his first year as a starter.  George has recorded 338 points and 109 rebounds in three years on the squad.

The Engineers completed the 2006-07 season with a 9-16 record and a 5-11 HCAC mark.  Rose-Hulman also earned season sweeps of Manchester College and Anderson University in their first year in the league.
