More than 24,000 fans attended Indianapolis Colts Training Camp at
Rose-Hulman. |
TERRE HAUTE, IND. -- More than 24,000 fans
visited the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology campus to watch
Indianapolis Colts Training Camp practices in July and August.
The attendance total of 24,053 ranks second in
Colts Camp history, behind only the 27,340 mark in the summer
following the team's Super Bowl XXI victory.
The 2009 camp established a new record for average
attendance per practice at 1,093 fans per session. Rose-Hulman
completed its 11th consecutive year hosting Indianapolis Colts
Training Camp.
Rose-Hulman's preparations for camp were highlighted by nearly nine weeks of work on the campus intramural
fields and the Cook Stadium game field. The three fields
provide the Colts with viable alternatives for team workouts.

Colts related stories in 2009 include ESPN, CBS, NBC, USA Today,
The Sporting News, Sports Illustrated, NFL.com, Sirius Satellite Radio, the Chicago Tribune, the New York Times
and the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. In-state media outlets
