Continued Excellence in Professional Learning

As you know, the State of Indiana requires all Professional Engineers (PEs) to take 30 hours of continuing education, including one hour each of ethics and Indiana statutes and rules each biennium. It's then up to the individual PEs or their employers to determine which courses to take to fulfill the remaining requirements. So the question is this: is there a difference from course to course?

Especially, when you consider courses from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Continuing & Professional Studies (CPS).

It's in our faculty.  Not only do our faculty members score consistently high with students, they are ranked among America's best by both peer and educational sources, from U.S. News and World Report to The Huffington Post and Princeton Review.  Our faculty members are recognized for their caring attitude, deep knowledge, and true affinity for the topics they teach.  This same nationally-recognized faculty brings their expertise to our courses in continuing and professional studies.

It's no wonder that Rose-Hulman has been named U.S. News and World Report's #1 engineering school among those whose highest degree in engineering is a master's degree for 13 years in a row!

Rose-Hulman Continuing Education Programs are flexibly built for the working professional. They are also designed to bring Rose-Hulman's high standards, hands-on education and innovation teaching to the professional's doorstep.

Courses available in the format that works best for you

Rose-Hulman's flexible continuing education offerings address the needs of the working professional engineer.  We offer the two-hour Professional Engineering Ethics course, required for certification, which covers ethics and Indiana statutes and rules. These courses are taught at key locations around Indiana, including several convenient Indianapolis locations.  And, to meet the needs of larger groups, we can customize longer-format courses and even bring our courses to your work place.
