OUTREACH The Office of Outreach broadens the impact of the Rose-Hulman experience. This initiative supports Rose-Hulman’s core academic mission and focuses on entrepreneurship/innovation, professional development, and relationships. We can assist you or your business with increased educational opportunities beyond the main campus in Terre Haute, Indiana. Rose-Hulman can offer courses at your site or at venues off campus, such as Indianapolis or Chicago. If your business has need for technical services, you can tap into one of the most intelligent student bodies in the country. Under the guidance of top-notch faculty and/or engineering supervisors, Rose-Hulman students tackle many real-world projects that have led to increased efficiency for the client and, in some cases, patentable technology. Your business wins and our students win through exposure to solving real-world problems. Rose-Hulman Ventures is a key player in reaching out with technical help to existing businesses and startups. Rose-Hulman’s Outreach is not limited to technical matters. Our Homework Hotline provides free mathematics and science homework help to high school students throughout Indiana, and the PRISM program Web site provides collections of online resources for Indiana educators in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The college also offers specialized short courses and a master’s of science in engineering management. The program is designed to meet the demands and constraints of both the working professional looking for part-time study and those who can spare one year for full-time study.
