Pi Mu
Epsilon is an honorary
mathematics fraternity whose
purpose is to promote
scholarly activity in
mathematics among students.
Undergraduate members are
selected from either those
upperclassmen who have at
least a 3.00 average in
mathematics and are in the
top third of their class, or
sophomore mathematics majors
who have completed at least
five quarters of mathematics
with a straight 4.0 record
in the mathematics courses.
Activities include
sponsoring a mathematics
paper contest in the spring
and a series of guest
lectures in mathematics
presented by professors from
nearby universities. |
