Alumnus Steve Varner Promoted to Lead E&B Paving's Indianapolis Office

Civil engineering alumnus Steve Varner has been promoted to area manager of E&B Paving Inc., leading its Indianapolis office. He previously was a senior estimator/project manager in E&B's Noblesville, Ind. office. His primary customer base has included the Indiana Department of Transportation, the cities of Carmel and Noblesville, and the Hamilton County Highway Department.
Varner, a 1985 Rose-Hulman graduate, began his new duties on January 1.
Prior to joining E&B in 2003 as an estimator/project manager, Varner was the
executive director of Cardinal Greenway, Inc. During his career he has also
worked for the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) and served as
the city engineer for Muncie, Ind. He is a licensed professional engineer.
"Steve has provided outstanding transportation construction expertise to
many of our customers in Hamilton County since joining E&B. He offers
solutions-oriented approaches on every project and brings a wealth of
experience to his new role. Our entire team looks forward to his leadership
of the Indianapolis office," says E&B Vice President John Eller, who
oversees the company's Indianapolis, Anderson and Evansville offices.
