‘Celtic Crossroads’ Fills Cancellation on Rose-Hulman
Performing Arts
Concert Schedule

A spring show by the Celtic instrumentalist and dancers of “Celtic
Crossroads” has been added to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology’s
Performing Arts Series schedule to replace the cancellation of The
StepCrew’s show on November 13 at the Hatfield Hall Theater.
An injury to a primary performer for StepCrew has forced the group to cancel
all of its late fall shows, according to Bunny Nash, Rose-Hulman’s director
of performing arts.
“The circumstances for this cancellation are beyond our control,” Nash
noted. “This is the first time since the performing arts series has been in
Hatfield Hall that we have had to cancel a concert. We apologize for any
inconveniences this may cause.”
Celtic Crossroads will present a show at Rose-Hulman on March 28. The group
of seven talented multi-instrumentalists and two dancers from Ireland will
present the best of Irish music and dance, with a wonderful fusion of
musical genres such as eastern European Gypsy, North American Bluegrass,
world classical and jazz, and the various forms of Celtic music. The group
will be taping a Public Broadcasting System special before coming to Rose-Hulman
in March.
Persons having tickets for The StepCrew’s show can exchange their tickets
for the Celtic Crossroads show or receive a full refund by contacting the
Hatfield Hall ticket office at (812) 877-8544 or visiting any weekday from
1-5 p.m.
