Top Business/Industry Leaders Head Rose-Hulman Board of Trustees

Four leaders in business and industry have been elected to lead the Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology Board of Trustees.
The officers are:
- Chairman - William Fenoglio, retired chief executive officer of Augat
Corp. and former General Electric Company executive;
- Vice Chairman - Jeffery Belskus, president and CEO of the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway;
- Treasurer - Thomas Dinkel, president of Sycamore Engineering; and
- Secretary - Niles Noblitt, retired chairman and co-founder of Biomet.

William Fenoglio |
A resident of Greenwood, Ind., Fenoglio is a 1961 graduate of Rose-Hulman
and had been serving as chairman on an interim basis since last spring. He
joined the board in 1992. Fenoglio brings an extensive executive background
to the chairman’s position. He has had a distinguished executive career,
which includes serving as vice president and general manager of the General
Electric Company’s component motor division where he headed 28 domestic and
offshore operations with annual sales of nearly $1 billion.
In addition to his GE background, where he served for 23 years, Fenoglio is
a past president and CEO of the Barnes Group, a diversified global
components manufacturer and logistical services company, providing thousands
of products and services to customers around the globe. He also is the
retired CEO of Augat Corp., one of the world's largest manufacturers of
connector products with broad applications in the communications, computer,
automotive and industrial markets.

Jeffery Belskus |
Belskus, a resident of Zionsville, Ind., is a 14-year member of the board
and had been serving as treasurer. He became CEO of the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway earlier this year. Prior to that promotion, he had been executive
vice president and chief financial officer for Hulman & Company, based in
Terre Haute, Indiana, and its subsidiaries including the Indianapolis Motor
Speedway and the Indy Racing League.
Belskus joined the Hulman and Company in 1987 as controller, and was
elevated to treasurer in 1989, He was promoted to vice president in 1991,
and executive vice president in 1994. He also serves on the Indiana State
University Foundation board, the Morris Plan Co. board and the Indiana Board
of the Nature Conservancy.

Thomas Dinkel |
Dinkel, a board member since 2004, is president and owner of several
corporations, all based in Terre Haute. The list includes Sycamore
Engineering, a commercial and industrial construction company specializing
in mechanical and electrical systems; Dinkel Associates, a mechanical and
electrical engineering design firm; Dinkel Telekom, a company specializing
in DC power system installations; and three real-estate development
companies. He resides in Terre Haute.
A 1972 mechanical engineering graduate of Rose-Hulman, Dinkel also serves on
the board of directors of First Financial Corp. and First Financial Bank,
the board of the Greater Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce, and the executive
committee of the Terre Haute Economic Development Corp.

Niles Noblitt |
Noblitt was re-elected as secretary and he has served as a board member
since 1988. He is a 1973 Rose-Hulman biological engineering graduate who
resides in Summerland Key, Fla. He co-founded Biomet in 1977, and served as
chairman of the company’s board of directors. Biomet is a world-leader in
the design and manufacture of surgical implants, orthopedic-support devices
and various hospital supply products.
In addition to his Biomet background, Noblitt sits on the boards of NICO, an
Indianapolis-based company that produces a minimally invasive medical device
for the removal of tumors and tissues from the human brain, and OrthoHelix
Surgical Designs, Inc., an orthopedic medical device company.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology is one of the nation’s leading
undergraduate engineering, mathematics and science colleges. For 11
