IRPA Mission

Our mission is to plan, design, and implement strategies for the collection and analysis of data and report information to support the evolving needs of faculty and administrators in the education of Rose-Hulman students and to be recognized as a national leader in institutional research and the assessment of student learning.

Current Services

The IRPA Office provides services to faculty, staff, students and other external organizations to support our institution’s vision and mission. Currently, we offer the following information/services to our constituents:

What’s New

  • For current high school and college students, please register and join us at the upcoming Spark Design Competition to be held on campus at the Sports and Recreation Center (Field House) on April 30, 2016. Students will compete in high school and college teams to engage in creative design and team building exercises. There will be a guest speaker and lunch will be served.
  • Thank you to all who have submitted nominations for this year’s Dean’s Outstanding Teacher Award. The nomination site is now closed.
  • The final data report for the 2015-2016 AITU Annual Data Exchange has been distributed online and the access information has been provided to the Leadership Team of each member institution.
  • Congratulations to all! 17th year in a row being ranked #1 Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs by the U.S. News & World Report!
  • Congratulations to Dr. Julia Williams, Executive Director of IRPA, as the recipient of the Emily K. Schlesinger Award for her outstanding service to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers’ (IEEE) Professional Communication Society (PCS)!
