IRPA Mission

Our mission is to plan, design, and implement strategies for the collection and analysis of data and report information to support the evolving needs of faculty and administrators in the education of Rose-Hulman students and to be recognized as a national leader in institutional research and the assessment of student learning.

Current Services

The IRPA Office provides services to faculty, staff, students and other external organizations to support our institution’s vision and mission. Currently, we offer the following information/services to our constituents:

  • 2016-2017 AITU Annual Data Exchange process has begun from October 12 through December 7, 2016.
  • Congratulations to all! 18th year in a row being ranked #1 Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs by the U.S. News & World Report!
  • Congratulations to all here at Rose-Hulman for receiving the inaugurated Sustained Excellence in Assessment (EIA) Designation! The Excellence in Assessment Designation is co-sponsored by the Voluntary System of Accountability (VSA), the National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA), and the Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U). VSA College Portrait is a joint initiative of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) and the Association of Public & Land-Grant Universities (APLU).
  • Congratulations to Dr. Matt Boutell for receiving this year’s Dean’s Outstanding Teacher Award! Thank you to all students who have participated in the nomination process.
