History

In September of 2004 Eric Clifft founded the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology chapter of EWB. He wanted to create an organization on campus in which RHIT students could contribute to communities around the world. Since then EWB- Rose-Hulman has partnered with Columbia University in New York City to improve the life of 1000 villagers in Obodan, Ghana.

Mission

We are Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology students committed to applying our knowledge of engineering in order to design and implement feasible solutions to improve the quality of life in third world countries. We worked with Dr. Anthony Akunzule in Obodan, Ghana in order to construct a brooding house there.
