Women's tennis goes 3-6, gaining first win in Terre Haute

Rose-Hulman’s women’s tennis team finished 1998 with a 3-6 dual meet record, including its first home victory. Senior Becky Smith provided the season’s highlight by rallying from a 6-0 deficit in a decisive third-set tiebreaker to lift Rose-Hulman over Marian 5-4. The Engineers also picked up their first victory in Terre Haute by defeating former ICAC foe Anderson University 8-1 at Rea Park in late September.
