Two new development oficers join Rose-Hulman staff


Bruce Landis and Bill Foraker are the new director of development and assistant director of development at Rose-Hulman.

Landis brings 25 years of development experience to his new position. He formerly served as chief development officer at the New Mexico Military Institute.

Landis previously has served as vice president for development at Adrian College in Michigan, vice president of the Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services Foundation, and director of planned gift programs at Ripon College in Wisconsin.

He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the National Society of Fund Raising Executives. Landis was among the first persons in the nation to receive certification from the organization.
Landis received the bachelor of arts degree from Earlham College, and the master’s and doctorate from Indiana University.

Foraker has several years experience in higher education and administration and as an industrial supervisor. He previously served as associate director of sponsored programs at Indiana State University Other appointments at ISU were associate dean for research, and director of the Technology Services Center.
Prior to joining ISU, he served in production, quality and manufacturing supervisory roles at the GM Central Foundry Division plant in Bedford.

He earned the bachelor’s degree in manufacturing technology and the master’s degree in electronics and computer technology from ISU.
