Winter 1998

2,000 by the end of 2000

Rose-Hulman’s license plate program for Indiana residents has a goal of issuing 2,000 plates by the end of the year 2000. New Indiana legislation requires all colleges participating in the specialty plate program to have a minimum of 2,000 plates registered to continue in the program beginning in 2001.

Not only is the plate a great way to show your Rose-Hulman pride, but it lets you help support a scholarship fund for Rose-Hulman students. The $25 fee for the plate is tax deductible and can be applied toward an employer’s matching gift program.

Since the program’s inception in 1993, Rose-Hulman has issued 800 plates, which have generated $63,400 for scholarships.

If you want to order a plate or renew an existing one, contact Bunny Nash, assistant director of alumni affairs, at 812-877-8465 or via e-mail at bunny.nash@rose-hulman.edu. You also can print out a license plate order form from Rose-Hulman’s world wide web site at http://www.rose-hulman.edu/alumniaffairs/plate.htm.
