Rose-Hulman has installed lights on Phil Brown Field, enhanced lighting on the existing campus intramural field, and constructed a new intramural field as part of ongoing improvements to the college’s athletic and recreation facilities.

"We now have the chance to play September home football games at night and hold practice in October and November without players missing practice due to labs or late afternoon classes," said Rose-Hulman head football coach Russ Mollet.

Wayne Spary, vice president of facilities operations, and Matt Sinclair, director of sports and recreation facilities, coordinated installation of four 75' light posts along the side of the field.
