Reskel runs to indoor all-American track/field honors for second time

Junior Phil Reksel finished fifth in the 400-meter dash finals at the NCAA III Indoor Track and Field National Championships at Ohio Northern University March 13 to earn All-American honors for the second time in his career.

Reksel ran a time of 49.14 seconds to finish fifth in the nation, only slightly off his season-best effort of 48.91 seconds at the USTAF Championships on Feb. 26.

In 1998, Reksel earned All-American honors by finishing fifth in the 400-meter hurdles competition at the NCAA III Outdoor Nationals, becoming the 13th track and field standout to earn All-American honors at Rose-Hulman.
